Any valid photo ID: a driver’s license, passport or military ID. Bring your form if you have one.

A trained technician captures each fingerprint on the Live Scan glass. No ink, no mess.

Sent securely
Your prints go electronically to the California DOJ and, when required, the FBI.

Results delivered
The agency on your form receives your results, typically within three business days.

Live Scan fingerprinting
Inkless, electronic fingerprints sent securely to the California Department of Justice and, when required, the FBI.
Live Scan is the standard for most California background checks, from new jobs and professional licenses to volunteering and adoption. We capture a clean, clear image the first time, so your application keeps moving. Our work is approved by the San Diego County General Services Office for Live Scan security clearances.

Ink fingerprinting (FD-258)
Traditional FBI ink cards for nationwide background checks and applications outside California.
If your agency asks for printed fingerprint cards, we roll them by hand with care, aiming for the highest acceptance rate so your application goes through the first time. Don’t have the standard FBI FD-258 card? We’ll provide it at no charge.

Mobile fingerprinting
We come to your office, school, church or ballfield and fingerprint your whole group in one visit.
For employers with onboarding deadlines, and for schools, churches and leagues with a crowd of volunteers to clear, our mobile team brings the scanners, laptops and applicant cards needed for clear, accurate prints. Each person should have a valid photo ID ready.

FBI background checks
Fingerprints for an FBI background check, for work, travel, immigration, adoption or your own records.
Many jobs, visas and adoptions call for an FBI check of your record. We capture your fingerprints electronically or on FD-258 cards, whichever your request requires, and help you understand the next step.
